LECTIA DESPRE CUB

Se ia o bucata de piatra,
se ciopleste cu o dalta de sange,
se lustruieste cu ochiul lui Homer,
se razuieste cu raze,
pana cubul iese perfect.

The Lesson About The Cube

It takes a piece of stone,
it carves with a chisel of blood,
it polishes with the eye of Homer,
it tenders with raybeams
until the cube comes out perfect.
After that it kisses by an uncountable number of times the cube
with your own mouth, with somebody else's mouth
and especially with Infanta's mouth.
After that it takes a hammer
and it suddenly smashes one corner of the cube.
All, but absolutely all will be saying,
"What a perfect cube would have been this one
if it hadn't had a smashed corner!"
